Born in Monrovia, Liberia, Kat Lincoln experienced the realities of civil war at a young age. Escaping the conflict, her journey eventually led her to the shores of California—a profound transition from raw survival to artistic awakening.
In the quiet spaces of her new home, she found solace in creative expression. The stark contrast between the heavy memories of her West African roots and the endless horizons of the Pacific Coast became the fertile soil from which her soulful artistry grew.
Today, her work serves as a bridge between these two disparate worlds, weaving threads of deep resilience, unspoken heritage, and triumphant beauty into every medium she touches.
